Hodgson Collection Drawings from the Royal Asiatic Society

This collection of drawings mainly comprises a series of 50 views of Nepalese architecture drawn by Raj Man Singh Chitrakar (1797-1865) in 1844 at Kathmandu, and come from the collection of Brian Houghton Hodgson (1800-1894). Many of the drawings show buildings that have since been altered, or destroyed in earthquakes.
