Physical description
Uma-Mahesvara, Siva and Parvati are seated in the relaxed ‘lalitasana’ posture on a cushion-throne draped with a tiger skin, acompanied by Nandi. Siva’s two nght hands gesture in exposition (vitarkamudra) whilst his lower left clasps Parvati’s waist. His fourth hand would have held a trisula (trident), now missing. His crescent moon and human skull attributes are set in the folds of his uncut hair.
