Mahakala (Buddhist Protector) – (1 face – 4 hands)

Mahakala (English: the Great Black One) with one face and four hands, fearsome in appearance, in a standing posture. Along the top are the five Celestial Buddhas. At the upper right and left are the Sun and Moon Gods. At the bottom center is White Ganapati with four hands surrounded by donor figures. Commissioned in 1639.
