Physical description

The crowned four-armed Ganesha sits on a simplified round lotus base. He holds an elephant prod and an axe in his upper hands, with his broken tusk and a sweet (?) in his lower hands. Brass colour with areas of red lac, little wear.

Transferred from the India Museum, London, in 1879.
