A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF MANJUVAJRA
NEPAL, 18TH CENTURY
The three-headed deity is cast separately from its double-lotus base and holds his principal arms in Varadamudra and before his chest while the remaining arms radiate around him. He is elaborately adorned with a flaming arched Mandorla, jewellery, billowing scarves, and crowns. The base is cast with a beaded rim.
