Superbly cast, seated in dhyanasana, his hands crossed in front of his chest in vitarkamudra, the soles of his feet with raised chakras, clad in a dhoti with incised hems that flow over his knees, adorned with various ornaments inset with hardstones, the face with aquiline nose and almond-shaped eyes, centred by a raised urna, the curls of hair secured with an elaborate tiara and surmounted by a conical helmet, flanked by two flowering lotus blossoms 13 7/8 in. (35.2 cm.) high
