Well cast and sensitively modeled seated in dhyanasana with his principal hands in anjali mudra, wearing a diaphanous dhoti gathered in elegant pleats at his feet incised with cloud-scrolls, ‘Endless knots’, and foliate hems, his multiple necklaces with pendant jewels, his face with a serene expression framed by an elaborate headdress and large circular earrings suspended over his shoulders 7 3/8 in. (18.8 cm.) high
