It exemplifies the fine metalworking technique for which Nepali craftsmen were famous. While retaining the same meditative posture, gesture, and mood of quiet introspection as the Indian prototypes, Nepali artists infuse a distinct grace, elegance of proportions, and sweetness of expression into their works.
