DEVI

DEVI

The Devi is seated in Lalitasana, her left hand raised in Vitarka Mudra and right hand lowered in Varada Mudra, an Utpala flowering at her left shoulder. She is heavily adorned with jewellery, including a foliate necklace, a beaded girdle, foliate armbands, circular earrings and a five-pointed diadem. Her sash falling from her shoulders, billows out on both sides behind her.
