Figure of Shiva

Physical description

Shiva has only two hands, holding a snake and damru drum. Another snake rears over his head. He wears a lincloth and jewellery, including a crown and stands on a simple, stepped square base. Brass colour with some red lac, little wear.

Transferred from India Museum, London , in 1879.
