A rare gilt-copper alloy figure of Hevajra, Nepal, 15th century
Standing in Alidhasana on a double Lotiform base embracing his consort, holding the kapala and chopper, one leg wrapped around his waist, each foot of the main deity crushing two elongated characters, his sixteen arms radiating around him and holding his attributes, his head with seven crowned faces, richly adorned with jewels and an engineered girdle set with reduced skulls, sealed (3) 15.9 cm, 6¼ in.
