A GLASS, STONE, CORAL AND MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID GILT-COPPER VOTIVE PLATE, NEPAL, 19TH CENTURY, TOGETHER WITH A PAIR FROM SIMILARLY INLAID GILT-COPPER CONSOLES
finely detailed embossed copper decoration of filigree copper wire and encrusted with glass, coral, turquoise, hard stones, rock crystal and mother-of-pearl, the center depicting an eight-armed deity standing on a double Lotiform pedestal under an arch polylobée with pediment decorated with a fabulous animal, flanked by two servants, the upper part animated by two dragons on either side of an angry head of divinity, the whole framed by a broad border decorated with flowers, with two small trapezoidal gilded copper brackets supported by two six-armed caryatids (3)
